Why is the rear mounted dovetail only available for 10mm/45acp slides? The rear mounted dovetail option is not available for 9/40/357 slides because the optic is to large to safely fit between the factory iron sight dovetail and safety plunger channel. This dimension is larger on 10mm/45acp slides allowing for the rear mounted dovetail. If you have a 9/40/357 Glock slide blank that does not have a rear dovetail machined yet then we can machine the rear mounted iron sights. Please call first to confirm this is possible with your specific slide blank.
